With the popularity of such books as HARRY POTTER, NARNIA, and the TWILIGHT series, it makes a writer wonder what strikes the younger audience...I really want to know what aspects of the books you read that engages you. Is it the romance? The paranormal? The vampires? The teen angst?
What is it that you can't stand? The angst? The vampires?
I really want to know. Since I am writing books geared toward the younger generation, I don't want to make those mistakes that will lose my audience. After all, I am thoroughly impressed that reading is making a comeback and it's something that a lot of us take for granted. I'm a voracious reader and it's exciting to see the renewed interest.
